The Scribe
CJ began teaching at the Worcester Art Museum in 2003. She works in ink and gouache using a variety of writing tools and enjoys the challenge of artistically interpreting text. For clients, CJ has addressed invitations, scribed poems/quotes, designed tattoos, personalized Christmas ornaments, written on sand dollars, and walls. CJ is a two-time winner of the Graceful Envelope Contest and has exhibited her work in juried art shows in New England. CJ is also left-handed. I hired CJ to address our wedding invitations. They came out BEAUTIFUL. I highly recommend her work. I've already gotten many compliments on them. She is also a pleasure to deal with - we had a lot of complications receiving our invitations, and she was always patient and wiling to accommodate us. I'm a lefty. It's near my heart. I used the German word for hope as German is a huge portion of my life. CJ incorporated an angelic symbol of hope as God is also a part of my life.
